Mark Wickam has been a part of the Lee family since 1987. Born and raised in Seymour, Iowa, this fitness/wellness specialist has not only served Lee in the classroom but also on the coaching staff.
For ten years, Wickam was Lee’s tennis coach. He commonly teaches classes such as Kinesiology, Physiology of Exercise, Cardiovascular Health, and Exercise Testing and Prescription.
In 1997, Wickam was appointed to the position of director of Field Experiences for the College of Education, which required him to relinquish his coaching duties, and served in the position for three years. He is currently serving as an associate professor of Health and Health Science in the Helen DeVos College of Education.
Besides racquetball, Wickam enjoys jogging and reading. He and his wife, Lorri, have two daughters, Mallory and Madison. They attend Westmore Church of God.
